Friends of Plane Saver (FOPS) began with a simple idea: to create something that brings our member communities together while giving something back. Re-launched in 2018, FOPS is a members-only lottery open to those who belong to Plane Saver Credit Union, First Defence Finance, Harlowsave Credit Union and Money Matters Community Bank.

For just £1 per ticket, members can enter our monthly draw for the chance to win one of three cash prizes, including the £1,000 top prize. Members can take part with up to 10 tickets each month — and once a year, we hold our exciting Super Draw, where prizes can reach £3,000!

But FOPS is more than a lottery.
It’s community in action.

Every ticket helps to support local groups, charities, and initiatives that make a real difference in people’s lives. From wellbeing projects to outreach programmes, the funds raised go right back into supporting the communities we serve.

FOPS is overseen by a team of volunteer trustees, all members themselves, who ensure the lottery is run fairly, transparently, and with integrity. Their goal is simple: to make sure FOPS continues to be something positive, supportive, and fun.
