Our Commitment to Responsible Play
  • The lottery is open only to members aged 18 or over.

  • Participation is entirely optional and should remain enjoyable.

  • Tickets cost £1 each, and members can purchase up to 10 tickets per month (maximum £10), helping to manage spending.

  • Ticket subscriptions continue automatically until a member chooses to amend or cancel them.

  • We encourage all members to play within their means and never spend more than they can afford.

Recognising the Signs of Problem Gambling

Even though FOPS is a community lottery with small stakes, gambling-related harm can affect people in different ways. Watch out for:

  • Spending more than you intended

  • Feeling pressure to continue playing

  • Chasing losses

  • Lottery participation affecting your finances, well-being, or relationships

If you recognise any of these signs, please seek support.

Where to Get Help

Several free and confidential organisations offer advice and support:

Managing Your Participation
  • Members can reduce or cancel their ticket subscriptions at any time by contacting Plane Saver Credit Union.

  • Winnings are credited to the member’s Regular Saver (Share 1) account and remain there unless withdrawn.

  • Members are encouraged to monitor their lottery activity and ensure it remains a safe and fun experience.

The Friends of Plane Saver Lottery is intended for fun and community benefit. Participation is voluntary and does not guarantee a prize. Please play responsibly and seek support if you feel your participation is affecting your finances or well-being.
